Roy (Ranbir Kapoor) is a mysterious thief whom nobody seems to be able to get their hands on. Kabir Grewal (Arjun Rampal), a film maker, seems to be the only one making a profit from all of Roy's roberies. That is, by making multiple films based on Roy's life and robberies, all achieving high success. Ayesha (Jacqueline Fernandez), another filmmaker, is the new girlfriend of Kabir, who is also a playboy. Ayesha gets irritated with Kabir's

casanova attitude and leaves him. She goes to a foreign land and meets Roy,but is unaware of his identity.They fall for each other and then returns Kabir with the police. He asks Ayesha (now Tia) to come back with him . However she disagrees and runs away with Roy. The police try to catch them but are unable to. How these three characters' lifes merge together in one dramatic, romantic and suspenseful thriller is what is in the story.
