The story starts in Milan, Italy where Abhi remembers his friends. The story revolves around five childhood friends Abhi (Ram Pothineni), Vasu (Sree Vishnu), Sai (Kireeti Damaraju), Satish (Priyadarshi Pullikonda) and Koushik (Koushik Rachapudi). Abhi and Vasu are best friends among them. Abhi's mother dies in his childhood and his father (Anand) brings him up. He's always unhappy on her death anniversary. When Vasu becomes his friend, he feels that there is no need of a mother with a friend like him. Things change when Abhi and Vasu fall in love with the same girl, Mahalakshmi a.k.a Maha (Anupama Parameswaran) who is studying medicine. After knowing that she is a classical singer, Abhi gives her a chance to sing in his band after observing her voice and encourages her to perform in the programme. But when both reveal that their love for the same girl, they decide to ask her whom she loves. And she reveals that she loves Vasu. But Abhi doesn't mind as he is a happy-go-lucky guy. Vasu begins to spend more time with Maha and starts ignoring Abhi. This starts a fight between them and Vasu says that priorities change with time and this time Maha is his priority. After hearing this Abhi gets hurt and leaves to Milan without telling anyone.

After four years, Abhi suddenly meets Vasu's sister Ramya (Alka Rathore) at his own restaurant and she tells him that Maha died in a road accident. A shocked Abhi then leaves to India to see his friends. She also tells him that his friend, Sai's marriage is set. He goes to Ooty where all the four are present for Sai's marriage. They all are surprised to see Abhi there except Vasu, who becomes dull and lifeless after Maha's death. Vasu avoids Abhi for some days as he later reveals that Abhi left him alone when he was needed the most. Meanwhile, Sai's marriage gets cancelled because of a petty quarrel between Sai's mother and his fiancee Srushti (Kaumudi Nemani). This depresses the wedding planner Meghana aka Maggie (Lavanya tripathi) as she had spent a lot on this marriage despite warning from her assistant Kanuka (Himaja). However, Sai refunds the amount and they decide to spend their time as a get-together. On the way to their trek, the local taxi drivers stop them to organise monopoly system by force to which Maggie opposes and confronts them. She is pushed back by a goon and this leads to a fight. Vasu joins Abhi in this fight. Later, Abhi pours his heart out that he didn't know about Maha and questions him that wouldn't he have come if he was aware. They both happily unite after sorting out their differences. As they all spend time together Maggie becomes close to both Vasu and Abhi. Their friends think that she might be the reason behind Vasu and Abhi's differences once again.

In a sudden encounter, Maha's friend Usha (Priya Chowdary) gives Maha's personal stuff leftover with her to Vasu. Among them, he finds her diary and gets to know she actually loves Abhi, not him. A day before saying yes to Vasu, Maha meets Abhi and proposes to him. But Abhi requests her to accept Vasu's proposal because he is very sensitive and might get depressed otherwise. Maha obeys Abhi and accepts Vasu's proposal. Meanwhile, with the help of Abhi and Satish, Sai confesses his feelings to Srushti and she too agrees and their marriage happens on the day fixed earlier. Satish who assumes that both Vasu and Abhi love Maggie and to avoid another tiff between them he convinces the latter that Vasu likes Maggie. Abhi decides to leave them again without telling anyone. When Vasu confronts Satish he reveals his doings. Maggie explains that she loves Abhi not Vasu and even Vasu confess that he doesn't have any feelings for Maggie. They find Abhi at the railway station and Vasu confronts him about Maha. Abhi says that when he lost his mother, Vasu took her place in his life and that his priorities won't change anytime, meaning Vasu will always be a priority to Abhi. Then Abhi and Maggie unite and the film ends with happy looking people along with Abhi's father.
