The plot revolves around a struggling street photographer Rafi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), based in Mumbai, who works day and night to pay off an old family debt. His grandmother (Farrukh Jaffar) wishes to see him married and constantly pressurizes him to find a suitable match. He convinces his grandmother by showing her a picture of a shy stranger, Miloni (Sanya Malhotra). When Rafi’s grandmother further prods to introduce her to his fiancé, he tracks down Miloni, a student belonging to a middle-class family. Rafi convinces her to fake their relationship, to which Miloni readily agrees. Despite the difference in their culture, status and economic background, the two form a unique bond. The film is a love letter to Mumbai, bringing the city out as a character sheltering the two protagonists and their extraordinary journey.

But Karan saved her by killing himself in the burning grave of Sameer as injury mark was there in the body of Karan`s chest given by Sameer during his last breath which became his (spirit) only source to survive in the body of Karan. But in the end scene, it seems that there was also same kind of injured mark in the hand of Ahana. So the spirit then also exists in Ahana with that mark. Movie ends there showing a chance for the sequel.

Timesnownews went with 2.5 stars out of 5 and has to say: "A lot of focus is put on making the film a tearjerker by emphasizing the aftermath of the riots, violence and fights that pretty much summed up Shiv Sena's history under the guidance of founder, Bal Thackeray. The film is good because of Nawazuddin's performance but it cannot be considered as one of the best biopics ever created.

Emraan Hashmi’s latest film Why Cheat India opened poorly, earning just Rs 1.71 crore on the first day. Written and directed by Soumik Sen, Why Cheat India also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the opening day figures. He wrote, “#WhyCheatIndia is a non-starter… Needs miraculous growth over the weekend to post a decent total… Fri ₹ 1.71 cr. India biz.”

Emraan Hashmi plays the role of Rakesh Singh, a man who helps rich candidates get seats in medical and engineering entrance examinations by making smart students take the exams in their place.

Why Cheat India has received mixed reviews. The Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta called it “disjointed and disappointing”. In her one-and-a-half-star review, she said, “The material is slender and too stretched over two hours, as it goes from engineering-medicine into management, the holy grail. The entrance of gun-toting ‘gundas’ and stealing of question papers, and an unconvincing revenge angle, turns the whole thing ludicrous.”

She added, “A couple of the acts — Snighadeep Chatterjee as Sattu, the good student turned bad, and Shreya Dhanawantary as Nupur, the girl who works hard to catch Rocky’s eye—are good. Hashmi, who can be excellent as the regular guy on the wrong side of the tracks, is not impactful enough, though, allowing his character both the luxury of wrong-doing and handing out lectures denouncing the very same thing.”

Why Cheat India’s business has seemingly been affected by holdover films like Vicky Kaushal’s military drama Uri and Ranveer Singh’s cop movie Simmba. If the movie does not accumulate some really good word-of-mouth promotion, it will certainly sink.

There is a chemical factory in the village which releases toxic wastes into the river and the villagers decide to give a petition to the minister requesting him to close the factory. Arumugam and his childhood rival Easwari (Jyothika) along with Easwari’s grandmother leave to Chennai to meet the minister Kaalaipandi (Shayaji Shinde) who has won from the village’s constituency.

All three reach Chennai and stay with Narain (Vivek), who also belong to the same village but settled in Chennai. Swapna (Reema Sen), a fashion model, also lives near Narain’s home and she is attracted towards Arumugam whereas Narain loves Swapna. Arumugam meets the minister amidst heavy crowd and conveys the problems faced by their villagers due to water pollution. The minister assures to take swift action.

Meanwhile, Sornaka (Telangana Shakunthala) and her brother Aadhi (Pasupathy) are local goons involved in many illegal activities with the minister Kaalaipandi supporting them behind. One day, Easwari accindetally collides with Aadhi following which he tries to beat her but saved by Arumugam. Also, Arumugam fractures Aadhi’s hands. Now Sornaka and Aadhi set an eye on Arumugam and decide to trouble him.

They along with the help of the minister kidnap Arumugam and injure him badly. The minister also informs that he will never take any action against the chemical factory in his village. Narain, Swapna and Easwari rescue Arumugam and treat him. Arumugam discloses the true image of the minister and the culprits behind him to Easwari and Narain. Arumugam decides to take revenge on the minister and tarnish his image among the public. Arumugam uses the minister’s memo pad and forges a letter praising an adult movie and requesting it to be published in a daily newspaper. The newspaper editor believes it and publishes the next day. This brings agitation among political parties and people demand resignation from Kaalaipandi.

Sornaka decides to kidnap Easwari and kill Arumugam but instead Arumugam thrashes Sornaka’s men and also saves Easwari. Meanwhile, Sornaka while trying to escape gets hit by a lorry and dies.

The minister decides to bring back his lost image by staging a fast until death event which will bring sympathy among citizens. Arumugam comes to the event to kill the minister but the minister escapes while he gets shot by a police. However, the minister is killed by Aarumugam. The film ends with union of Aarumugam and Eeshwari as lovers. Finally Arumugam produces all the evidences collected by him against Kaalaipandi and he also helps the chemical factory to be closed which saves his village.

Simmba (lit. Lion) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty and written by Yunus Sajawal and Sajid-Farhad. A spin-off of the Singham franchise, the film was produced by Shetty under his banner Rohit Shetty Picturez and Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner Dharma Productions. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, with Ajay Devgn reprising his role of Bajirao Singham. The film follows Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer hailing from the same town as Singham, who is forced to lead a more righteous path after tragedy strikes those near him.

While some action sequences were based on those from the Telugu-language film Temper (2015), the plot of Simmba remained original.[4] It has an estimated production budget of ₹80 crore (US$11 million). Principal photography began in June 2018 with most scenes filmed in Goa and Kolhapur and the remaining filmed at Hyderabad and Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Shooting was wrapped up by early December in the same year. The film's soundtrack was composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George - DJ Chetas and S. Thaman, with lyrics written by Shabbir Ahmed, Rashmi Virag, Kumaar and Kunaal Verma.

Simmba was released in countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council on 27 December 2018. The film will release in India and other international territories on the following day; it was distributed worldwide by Reliance Entertainment.

Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh) is an antiheroic orphan-turned-cop from Shivgadh, the same town where Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) was raised. Contrary to Bajirao's integrity, Simmba enjoys and takes full advantage of the lifestyle of a corrupt cop. However, when Simmba's loved ones are abused, he finds himself transformed and forced to choose a more righteous path.

Aisha is a budding writer and visits Delhi with her friend to research for her upcoming book. She meets a local guide Dev. She falls for Dev. She again books a meeting with Dev with all seats reserved and surprises him. Finally Aisha proposes him and they marry. After a few months Aisha realises that she is pregnant and she informs it to Dev who is extremely happy hearing the news, but Aisha refuses to carry the baby as she feels she isn't ready for it. Somehow Dev convinces her for it . They both are seen to be happy and feel that they might have a baby girl and decide to name her Disha, which is a mixture of Dev and Aisha. Unfortunately, they have a miscarriage and Dev's mother blames Aisha for it. Frustrated, Aisha feels humiliated & insulted and leaves Dev saying that she doesn't love him anymore and that she would try to live without him. A few days later dev and his family try to bring her back but she doesn't. She calls dev to meet her at a place if he really loves her, but apparently Dev does not come. 7 years later Aisha breaks her wedding as she is still obsessed with Dev. She decides to move on and face her problems. On her way to Delhi she has a lady Anu and her daughter Pulti as co passengers. While having a conversation with the lady she finds that the lady is Dev's second wife . She also meets dev in the train as he is in the same compartment. During the journey, she is reminded of her marriage with Dev (the entire love story ) in parts (shown in flashback). Further Aisha finds out that Pulti's real name is Disha. Highly upset, Aisha chides Dev for naming his daughter Disha. The train reaches the station. While leaving Anu thanks Aisha for giving her Dev and tells her that she knows that she is Dev's love and first wife. After getting down from the train, Dev goes back to the train to tell Aisha that he had come to meet her that day but somehow felt that she wouldn't remain happy with him. His world is different from hers and he wanted to see her live her life happily and fulfill her dreams. He also tells her that he had read her novel many times. Both cry and hug each other. She says that although their destinations are different, still their love remains intact. Dev tells Aisha that he would wait for her next novel. A few days later Dev finds Aisha's new book named Jalebi which is based on their complicated love story just like a Jalebi.

While dancing Meera falls from the hostel rooms window and dies. Krishna gets upset. Everyone starts to speak about Meera in a wrong way even Meera's father gets angry about Meera getting drunk. Seeing all this Krishna gets angry and starts to beat his senior.

After three years Krishna is in his final year, he becomes stubborn and rude. He is in the final year and Satya (Samyuktha Hegde) his junior doing her first year in electrical stream falls in love with Krishna. Krishna and his friends get apart due to fight and he forms another group.
