Rajeev is known to Minal through a common friend. Rajveer and his friends get drunk and try to molest Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu) and her two roommates. Andrea is touched inappropriately by Dumpy (Raashul Tandon). Minal picks up a bottle and smashes it on Rajveer's eye, leaving him bleeding despite she saying NO to him. Rajveer and his friends try to vacate the girls from their houses and threaten them over the phone. Minal is foced to file a FIR against Rajveer and his friends. Upon realisation Rajveer lodges a wrong FIR against the girls, labelling them as prostitutes, using his powerful connections. Minal is charged for 'Attempt to murder' and for soliciting, where she could face imprisonment for more than 10 years, if convicted. Deepak Sehgall (Amitabh Bachchan) is a lawyer suffering from bipolar disorder who experiences frequent mood swings and has an ailing wife. He represents the girls in the court. The film revolves around how Deepak fights the girls' case against these influential boys.

Ali Hassan (Ali Zafar) is a reporter with Danka TV, a downmarket local TV channel in Karachi, Pakistan. He is keen

to migrate to the US for a better life and wants to work for an American news channel. He gets a chance to fly to the US, but ruins it on board while filming his own audition. He recites the words "Hijack" and "Bomb" too many times; thus scaring his fellow passengers and flight crew. As soon as he reaches the USA, he is deported. Furthermore, because of this incident his visa application is rejected six times in seven years. While covering a local event for his channel, he comes across an Osama Bin Laden look-alike, Noora (Pradhuman Singh), and hits upon an idea to make a fake Osama tape. He manages to convince his assistant Gul (Nikhil Ratnaparkhi) about the merits of his plan. With help from his travel agent's assistant Zoya (Sugandha Garg) and a local radio jockey Qureshi (Rahul Singh), he is able to make the tape by tricking Noora into unknowingly posing as Bin Laden. He then sells the tape to the owner of his channel, hoping to raise money for a new false identity, a new passport and a renewed attempt at getting the elusive US visa. However, the gravity of their action strikes them when the US Government takes the tape seriously and gets involved, as do the Pakistani intelligence agencies. Noora, too, comes to know about the trick played upon him and goes into hiding in his house. Ali decides to defuse the situation by making another tape in which Osama would be declaring ceasefire with US. He manages to convince Noora and Qureshi. During the shooting of the tape in Danka TV studio, Noora unwittingly detonates a grenade, which kills his beloved prize rooster. Depressed, Noora runs away from the location with the Osama-makeup still on, forcing Ali and his team to follow suit. They manage to get hold of Noora and try to convince him for another shoot. Meanwhile, the FBI team, led by Ted Wood (Barry John) and Usman (Chinmay Mandlekar), head of the Pakistani intelligence agency tracks down the location of Ali and his team. The police arrests Noora, Ali and his team. Ted is delirious that he could at last catch Osama bin Laden. However, during the interrogation, the truth is revealed and to save Ted's face, Ali convinces him about his idea of making a tape of Osama declaring ceasefire. The film ends with US accepting the offer of ceasefire and Ted getting elected as Defence Secretary. Ali is, at last, able to make it to the US and Noora too changes his lifestyle, marries Zoya and helps her with the daily routine in her beauty parlor. Usman is shown to be admitted in a mental hospital as he tries to tell the truth to the world.

The SHAUKEENS when the original was released in the 80s, it may not have set the box office registers ringing, but make sure the impact of which lasted for more than two decades now. Thus,   The SHAUKEENScomes with a bucket of expectations and let's see if a new edition in 2014 was able to meet him.

The SHAUKEENS Preserving the essence of the film intact 80S, and  The SHAUKEENS follows a similar plotline where three men take a lonely road in the lust to add some fun to the monotonous lives. Laali aka Lalchand (Anupam Kher), a shoe shop owner and family man, but his wife has taken "sanyashashram" and sacrificed all sexual relations in order to achieve salvation. On the other hand, we have KD evergreen (Anu Kapoor) Bachelor thinking carefully about unrequited love. Then we get to meet the third Pinky "shaukeen" (Piyush Mishra), a widower trying to find love again the center of a large family of sons and grandson. Three, after it was determined many of the plans failed to achieve their desires abroad and take off to Mauritius for a fun-filled trip. While they are renting a house for a young girl, and they come across them, "Lady Earth" Aahana (Lisa). Young, free-spirited and hot, and three in an attempt to attract girls in their own way. Light-hearted, humorous and full ride rib tickling, and  The SHAUKEENS manages to keep you entertained throughout. Scenario, which is a tad different from its counterpart 80S, has enough punch to keep you gripped until the end lines. First half where the script is trying to uncover the life story of three elderly men who are trying to find fun in their lives are carefully handled so far, with a tinge of comedy, without making it look vulgar or degrading! In the second half, but that has a lot of those fun moments that will remain constant smile on your face. Antiques, and despite the quirks resemble the original, it has been adapted in a manner very suitable for contemporary times.

The SHAUKEENS What adds to this wonderful comic caper is the performance of Anupam Kher, Anu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra. They are crazy on an equal footing and creepy that will make you laugh and cringe at the same time. Anu Kapoor highlights the wonderful beautiful debauchery. He was a wonderful man of charm and it seems the best bet for actually courted attention Aahana. Anupam has a good a great year with a fine performance and one after the other. This one is more accurate performance with special care taken of the town and self-conscious body language. Piyush Mishra internalises frustration him brilliantly. The way in which his dam bursts restraint open near the end is commendable.

The SHAUKEENS He drew parallels between the famous critic representation Akshay Kumar and wooden furniture that does not do much.
