Sharat Chandra is a rich, unhappy businessman based in Zurich. He wishes to reconcile with his estranged daughter

Saraswathi whom he expelled because she married Prakash against his wishes. His grandson Bhargava Chandra promises Sharat Chandra that he will bring her back to their home on his 75th birthday. Saraswathi has three daughters: Two of them are Indira and Rukmini. Bhargava enters the house as Chandu, a driver who was appointed by Prakash after saving him from a heart attack. Bhargava tries to woo Indira but gives up when he learns that Indira is in love with another man. Rukmini hates Bhargava and is suspicious of him. Saraswathi later reveals to Bhargava that she is aware of his real identity much before the incidents and warns him to abstain from doing anything with the intention of taking her back to Sharat Chandra. To save Indira's love, Bhargava and Chikkanna go to a village and accidentally Rukmini falls into the jeep due to a head injury thus suffering with amnesia. Bhargava introduces himself as her lover for the time being. Rukmini believes it. The trio go to the venue; Bhargava and Chikkanna enter the house. They and the bridegroom escape from there and reach Saraswathi's home after a violent altercation with the family members of the bridegroom where Rukmini's memory is revived. The bride's father Veerappa asks for compensation for the damage caused by Chandu, to which Saraswathi promises Rukmini's marriage with his elder son. To avoid complications, Prakash fires Bhargava. Bhargava later learns that Rukmini loved him from the beginning but was hesitant to express her feelings. He traps Bhaskar, a rich NRI staying in Uganda who has a penchant for women, and enters Saraswathi's home as his assistant. Bhaskar falls for Rukmini but his attempts are repeatedly thwarted by Bhargava. On the day of her marriage, Rukmini elopes with Bhargava. While waiting with him for the train to Mumbai, Veerappa's henchmen reach the station to stop them only to be trashed by Bhargava. An angry Prakash, with Saraswathi, arrive to shoot Bhargava but Prakash is taken aback after knowing his true identity. Bhargava reveals that the day Saraswathi left the house, Sharat Chandra tried to commit suicide but accidentally killed Bhargava's mother. He says that he chose to love his grandfather though he killed his mother. Saraswathi chose to hate him as he injured Prakash and expelled them. Saraswathi and Prakash realize their mistake and reconcile with Bhargava. Rukmini is kidnapped by four henchmen appointed by Bhaskar where she narrates the story to the henchmen. Bhargava and Chikkanna reach the spot and Rukmini reconciles with Bhargava. Bhaskar's wealth is seized by the government of Uganda and he is left with the same amount with which he ran away from Prakash's house when he assisted him in the past. Sharat Chandra reconciles with Saraswathi and Bhargava is unanimously appointed as the CEO of the company thanks to the support of Saraswathi and Sharat Chandra. The film ends with Bhargava holding Sharat Chandra's hand with affection on the dining table.

The film opens in Kuwait (Aug 1990) with Indian businessman Ranjit Katiyal clinching a business deal with the Emir

of Kuwait. Katiyal is a ruthless businessman who will go to any lengths to make a profit. He is successful and well connected in Kuwait and Iraq. Katiyal calls himself a Kuwaiti and is generally derisive towards Indians. He has a large and well appointed mansion in Kuwait, he makes a happy home with his wife Amrita and his sweet little daughter Simu. Late that evening he receives word that Iraq has attacked Kuwait. (He explains that Iraq and Kuwait have had tense relations: Iraq owes a large dollar debt to Kuwait and Saddam has urged the Kuwaiti establishment to reduce oil supply so prices can rise. When Kuwait refused and remained defiant Saddam ordered the attack.) At this point Katiyal believes the attack is one of the many minor border skirmishes. He asks Amrita to take the child away to London for a few days until things cool down. In short order he discovers that the attack was not a minor skirmish. Iraqi soldiers are overruning Kuwait and plundering the city and indiscriminately targeting and murdering Kuwaiti citizens. Katiyal and Nair drive to the Indian Embassy. They are stopped by angry Iraqi soldiers (still in their teenage years) and when Nair begins pleading in Arabic he is shot dead. Katiyal manages to reach the Embassy. The consul, a friend of Katiyal, explains that the Kuwaiti government (the Emir family and others) has fled and Kuwaiti money is now worthless. The 170,000 Indians in Kuwait are now refugees until India decides its policy. Katiyal returns. He is pulled out at a checkpost and taken to the Emir palace. Iraqi Major Khalaf is now in charge. He chides Katiyal for not remembering him from his previous visits to Iraq. He explains that Iraq has always enjoyed good relations with India and now he extends his own personal friendship to Katiyal by which he means Katiyal should transact business with him; business now includes supplies, transport out of Kuwait and anything else that may be needed. Katiyal hurries home; his mansion is looted but his wife and child are safe at his office. Katiyal meets with his friends (one of them owns a supermarket). After some initial confusion he manages to convince them to stay together. A makeshift camp is set up at a nearby school and some 500 Indians move in. Amrita urges Katiyal to use his clout to extricate his own family but Katiyal (who ordinarily would have just looked to himself) appears to have a change of heart. Katiyal decides to stay and help the others get out. He eventually discovers that the Indian Embassy has been evacuated as well. He phones the Indian External Affairs Ministry in New Delhi where he reaches Joint Secretary Kohli who, as is common in the Ministry, redirects him to another officer. As Katiyal is trying to reach someone the camp is looted by Iraqi soldiers. Katiyal reaches the Major who explains that his soldiers need food and may return again. The Major also reveals that Saddam has already permitted Indians to leave Kuwait. Katiyal goes to Baghdad to try and set up a way out of Kuwait. Arriving in Baghdad Katiyal discovers that the Indian Embassy is of no help. (The consul explains that they cannot issue passports since many others - Pakistanis and Bangladeshis - use war as a convenient excuse to claim Indian nationality.) Kuwaitis in Iraq have also fled. The only remaining option, Iraqi Foreign Minister Aziz is somewhat helpful. He is a friend of Katiyal and is sympathetic to the cause. He discloses that an Indian merchant ship is due to arrive in Iraq and he will tacitly permit the 500 Indians to leave on the ship. Katiyal is grateful and returns to Kuwait with the news. But as soon as the buses are loaded and ready to leave Katiyal receives the distressing news that there is a UN embargo and ships are barred from entering or leaving Iraq. One of Katiyal's cantankerous employees rails against him. Amrita comes to his defense and after a loud argument everyone is resolutely supportive of Katiyal. Katiyal continues to keep in touch with the Indian Ministry officer Kohli but Kohli is somewhat of a sluggard. But when his own father recounts their tale of woe during the partition of India, Kohli awakens and begins to actively petition the Minister. The Minister sadly explains that they are in a weak coalition government and the Kuwaiti problem is not a high priority. But Kohli persists and the Minister, half in frustration and half in agreement, asks Kohli to handle it. Kohli approaches Air India (then national airline) and orchestrates an evacuation of the 170,000 Indians in Kuwait. The last part of the plan is arduous. Katiyal bluffs and threatens the Major to get him to let them leave. (The Major had thought he would have obtained more concessions from Katiyal.) Kohli pleads and wrangles the Indian establishment to get the Amman Embassy to issue permits. When Katiyal finally loads up the Indians and leaves he encounters hostile Iraqi soldiers who stop him at a border checkpoint and threaten to rape Amrita. Katiyal fights them off when he finds the Indian contingent right behind him. The Iraqi soldier drops his weapons and lets them pass. They all arrive in Jordan and the Amman Embassy receives word in the nick of time to let them leave for India. Kohli has successfully negotiated safe passage of all the Indians. Air India supplies the planes and the pilots, previously unwilling to fly over war zones, have had a change of heart towards their brethren. The Indian tricolor is hoisted over the Jordan airport. The film ends as the Indians salute Katiyal as they board the planes that will take them home.

The film set in the 18th century is all about a group of people who steals from the wealthy to provide food and

shelter for their tribe. Kombodhi (Pasupathy) is the gang leader and during one of his missions he meets the brave Varipuli (Aadhi). He brings Varipuli to his village and a bond develops between the two. But Varipuli has a past and his real name is Chinna. For the death of a youth Thogaimayan (Bharath) from neighbouring village, the King had in fact ordered one youth to be given as offering to the Almighty and Chinna was the choice. Sequence of events lead to Chinna escaping from the offering only to find out the mystery behind Thogaimayan's death. But that was too late as too many things happened in his village by then. Now he goes on the hiding. Cut to present, Chinna is taken to be offered to God. Where the flashback begins. He himself being a border guarding person loves a girl in the same village called Vannapechi(Dhansika). later the village find Thogaimayan dead. After Chinna is chosen to be the offering to the god Chinna's lover asks her father to marry Chinna to at least spend his last days together. They marry on the 2nd day. Chinna finds a fellow villageman running with a silver jewellery. When Chinna asks where he got it from he replies he got it from Thogaimayan's hand. Chinna later finds out that the killer was the village's King himself. he confronts the king and the king tells the story. His second wife was found out to be pregnant but he didn't like it as he never touched her. The queen tell she has the baby to take revenge on him as she was the queen of a neighbouring village and this King had killed everyone from her family and married her to prevent anyone else from her family. The king finds out it was Thogaimayan who created this chaos and kills him and his second wife. Chinna tries taking him back to the villagebut the king escapes and falls down a waterfall to prevent the villagers from knowing. Chinna jumps too but his leg is broken and comes out only to find the King is dead. Meanwhile in the village as Chinna is not to be found anywhere they sacrifice someone else. But the village head tells everyone that everyone has a right to kill Chinna as he has bought a disgrace to the village. Chinna gets well and meets his family to know that his wife is pregnant. He says he will go to the killing but his wife tells him to wait for the baby see its face then go.But her father tells Chinna to go out of the village and not come back for 10 years as the villagers will forgive anyone after 10 years as the villagers will not believe the truth. Chinna leaves.But the neibouring villagers find him in 9 years At present Kombodhi and his friends save Chinna and take him in the way they come back again and Chinna surrenders as he doesn't want to live a life like this. He sees his son's face for the first and the last time. only to find out a child he knew from the child's young age is going to kill him he gets the knife and kills himself.

Uravakonda a remote village situated in Nallamala Forest, which is far away from modern civilized life. This

village has only 12 Hrs a day i.e. 6 AM to 6 PM, sunrise to sunset. No one comes out of their houses after 6 PM, the entire village becomes like a graveyard. If anyone tries to come out of their house they were mercilessly killed by unknown reason. Someone thinks that it is a revenge by some ghosts, some thinks it is job of wizards in the village and some it is play of village head Jagga Reddy (Pruthvi Raj) who performs all illegal activities in the forest. The only person who knows the real secret behind all these mysterious things is Tripura (Gayatri Iyer) a well-educated girl who lives in the same village. A Police Officer (Satyam Rajesh) is specially appointed to find out the reason behind these murder mysteries, he reaches Uravakonda and finds out that Tripura knows everything and when he starts interrogating her, she avows the actual truth. Vijay ((Jagapati Babu) belongs to the same village, completes IAS and comes back to his village and his only aim is to develop his village. Vijay & Tripura loves each other. One day Vijay dies accidentally due to thunderbolt hit. A scientist (Surya) who lives in the same forest and experimenting on how to give life to a dead person, finds out that Vijay is just clinically died and takes out his body from the burial ground and gives the life to him. But unfortunately, his experiment fails the virus injected into Vijay’s body made him as a brute and it works on him 6 PM To 6 AM, sunset to sunrise. At that time he cannot live without sucking human blood, therefore it is the secret behind the Uravakonda’s 6 to 6 mystery. Finally, Tripura and the Scientist are successful in finding out Vijay with the help of Police and gives antivirus to him after a lot of effort and brings back him to normal condition. There ends the Uravakonda’s mystery, entire village runs 24 hours a day and Vijay comes back as an IAS officer.
