Kick is a 2014 Hindilinks4u Hindi action-thriller romantic comedy, directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. The film features Salman Khan in the lead role, with Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui appearing in supporting roles. The film is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name, with a screenplay adapted by Nadiadwala and
Chetan Bhagat. The film released on 25 July 2014 in about 5000 screens worldwide is the second biggest release for an Indian film. Kick received positive reviews from critics and went on to perform well commercially, breaking several domestic box-office records. The film was declared a "Blockbuster" at the box office by Box Office India after its first week of release. The film went on to become the second highest grossing Bollywood film of all time in India, the seventh highest-grossing in overseas markets and the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide.

Dr. Shaina Mehra (Jaqueline Fernandez) is a psychiatrist living in Poland. One day, her father, Mr. Brijesh Mehra (Saurabh Shukla) brings a marriage proposal and asks her to meet Himanshu Tyagi (Randeep Hooda). Himanshu and Shaina meet in a train, where Shaina talks about her past experiences involving her ex-boyfriend, Devi Lal Singh (Salman Khan). Devi Lal Singh is a highly intelligent, highly achieved, adventurous and fun-loving young man, who is always looking for a 'kick' or an adrenaline rush in everything that he does. Due to his daredevil attitude, he never stays in one job for too long. He has resigned from 32 companies as he feels that he is suffering from lack of kick. When Shaina first meets Devi, she is trying to help her friend Vidhi (Sumona Chakravarti) elope with her lover and Devi's friend (Kavin Dave). Devi rescues them and gets them married in a temple but also at the same time helps her MLA mother along with her goons to follow them and reach the temple just for the 'kick' of it. Shaina initially dislikes Devi because of his thrill seeking attitude and calls up Inspector Ramavtaar Rathi (Sanjay Mishra) to arrest him for an eve teasing case but he happens to see Devi beating up some goons. Nevertheless Devi demands that he be sent to prison. After seeing a video of Devi beating up the goons, Shaina realises that he is a good person and goes to free him. At the police station, Devi's father comes to beat him up. However, this is revealed to be a farce and eventually they end up at a club. Devi's father is revealed to be as happy-go-lucky as Devi and even goes to the extent of pretending to have cancer, along with joining his son in his hilarious antics. Later Shaina meets Devi's caring mother (Archana Puran Singh) who tells her good things about Devi and his problem and Shaina eventually falls in love with him. Shaina and Devi decide to get married. On Shaina's suggestion, Devi accepts a job in a chemical lab and their relationship progresses fine. But Devi later resigns from the lab after again suffering from the lack of kick. On hearing this, Shaina berates him and after an argument, they break up. Devi moves away after telling Shaina that he is going to get another job in which he won't suffer from lack of kick. A sad Shaina leaves for Poland, where her parents live, and does not hear about or meet Devi for a year. Himanshu then reveals that he has come to Poland to catch a notorious thief. The robber, calling himself 'Devil', targets all the rich people associated with Shiv Gazra (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a corrupt businessman, and robs them just for fun. That robber is none other than Devi. After many unsuccessful attempts at catching him, the police department handed over the Devil's case to Himanshu, who is nearly successful in his first attempt and manages to shoot Devil in the arm and Devil just manages to escape. Devil then sends a picture of a man to the police department along with a message saying that he will rob this man of 50 crores. The man in question is revealed to be a government peon. However this is a trap since this very man is revealed to actually have the money and goes to a hideout to retrieve it. Devil, who is already at the hideout, knocks him out and takes the money. The money is revealed to belong to a politician. once again associated with Shiv Gazra. Devil later contacts Himanshu, refers to him as "partner" and thanks him for leading him to the money. He also insults him by calling him a loser. Himanshu uses this word as a hint and finds a flight number for a Polish Airlines flight to Warsaw. Shaina spots Devi in Poland. He has come there for treatment after seemingly losing his memory in an accident. Shaina offers to handle Devi's case and decides to take him home. It is now revealed that Devi is just pretending to have memory loss and his real plan is to befriend and fool Himanshu and rob Shiv, who will be coming to Poland for a deal worth crores of rupees. Devi enters the charity function and robs Shiv, who was about to invest a huge amount of money in a foreign firm. During the robbery Himanshu and Shaina discover Devil's true identity and Devi escapes by jumping from the building and rides a bus. After a high speed chase Devi drives the bus into a river and the cash is destroyed in the process. Devi then celebrates his failure back in India. Himanshu spots and warns him that if he tries to rob again, he will be killed, but Devi challenges him by saying that he will rob a huge party fund worth 500 crore rupees on the 14th of November. Shaina meets Devi's father in India, who tells her Devi's true intentions. Devi is committing robberies to help poor children who are suffering from diseases and need crores of rupees for treatment. On the day of their break up, Devi, while walking out of a shop, saw a couple, a husband and a wife, fall to their deaths in front of him. With them, comes a suicide note, saying that they had a happy life with a good job and their daughter, Jhumki. But when Jhumki was diagnosed with a terminal heart disease, the amount required for the operation was too big for her parents, who did not earn much. Even after selling most of their things, they were unable to come up with the money, and, unwilling to face reality, they decided to end their lives. Devi then takes it upon himself to raise the money, selling his bike and taking money from his father, but he falls short and goes to ask Shiv and his associates for the money. However, Shiv refuses to even look at him and insults him by giving him a mere 100 Rupee note. Devi calmly thanks him and leaves. Somehow, he manages to raise the money and save Jhumki's life. When he goes to meet her after the operation, she smiles at him and thanks him and it is at this moment that he seems to have found the "ultimate kick". When a doctor tells him that several such children are suffering from diseases, he decides to save them by performing robberies in order to get the money after knowing that this will give him a lot of kick. Later, Devi (transforming himself as Devil) goes to steal the party funds, and finds Shiv and his guards waiting for him. After a long fight with Shiv and his gang, Devi reveals to Shiv his true identity and kills him. He hands over all the money to his father and runs out in front of the police. Himanshu gets ready with many officers to catch and shoot Devi, but millions of children block his way. It turns out that on the 14th of November, Children's Day, the children are all going to pray for Devi and thank him for saving them. Himanshu then realizes that all the robberies Devi committed were actually to help these children. Later on, Himanshu is taken off the case and it is given to none other than Devi, now a police officer. Devi then thanks Himanshu, saying that he was never against him. Himanshu then says that it is impossible to understand Devi, who turns to the camera, breaks the fourth wall by acknowledging this point and smiles at the camera as the film ends.
