Dhanraj (Pran) is a poor mill worker whose life is ruined by his boss, Hira (Ranjeet) who fires Dhanraj from his job and also is responsible for his sister's death. Dhanraj along with his family is left destitute and is on the verge of starvation but luck strikes when Dhanraj crosses paths with a orphan boy, Amar having a winning lottery ticket. Dhanraj becomes very rich and he adopts Amar who has become his good-luck charm. Years later, all of Dhanraj's children, Renu, Vishwas, and Kishan have grown up along with Amar, who is now a police inspector. Amar falls in love with a small time thief, Geeta (Juhi Chawla) and marries her while Kishan is in love with the daughter of Dhanraj's sworn enemy Hira. Things don't go well in Dhanraj household, as the elder son Vishwas under the influence of his greedy wife starts to embezzle wealth. Then Vishwas' wife blames Amar of assaulting her, forcing Amar and Geeta to leave the house. With Amar out of the house, Dhanraj feels vulnerable and open to attacks. But things start to spiral out of control Dhanraj is arrested for marketing suprious drugs and the arresting officer is none other than Inspector Amar. Can Dhanraj and his family survive the test of time and unite to fight the harsh realities in their life?

It's the story of Karan (Karan Nath) and Pooja (Jividha Sharma),Sandeep Kumar Rajput who are studying in the same college in Pune. They fall in love and everything seems to be going fine till one day, while visiting her brother in Mumbai, Pooja's flight is hijacked by a

group of terrorists, following the arrest of their leader Ashraf-ul-Haq Mallik. Ironically, this hijack has been engineered by Pooja's brother Vijay Varma (Rajat Bedi), who is in league with the terrorist head Akhmash Jalal. Vijay is unaware of the fact that his beloved sister is on board the same flight. When he realises this, he is unable to do anything as Akhmash forbids him from doing anything that would jeopardise their mission. Karan daringly risks his life and rescues Pooja and the other passengers while ridding of all the hijackers on the plane, thus inviting the wrath of Akhmash and Vijay. Akhmash is now out to kill Karan. On the other hand, Vijay puts his foot down when Pooja reveals her intentions of marrying Karan. Pooja and Karan decide to escape, but they are chased and nabbed by Akhmash and his men and held captive in his den. Akhmash then tries to blackmail the Indian government by demanding the release of his leader Ashraf-ul-Haq Mallik as ransom for the lives of Karan and Pooja.The Indian government decides to release Ashraf-ul-Haq Mallik to rescue Karan.In the last scene there is a fight between Karan and the terrorists and all are killed including Ashraf-ul-Haq Mallik and Karan and Pooja are united. This was the most successful film of Karan to date, and was an above-average grosser that year and was highly popular among the masses. It also has arguably the most audacious helicopter stunt flying in Bollywood, done by Col Shaili Sharma, piloting a Bell 206L at knee-height in restricted rocky terrain near Hyderabad. This becomes the high point of the film towards the climax, along with the uplifting soulful qawwaali "Allah Allah" composed with zest by Nadeem Shravan (specially notice the effervescent percussion)

Suraj (Govinda) lives with is parents viz, dad (Aloknath), mom Savitri (Seema Deo), sister Pooja (Parijat), elder brother Amar, his

sister-in-law, and a niece and nephew. Amar is employed in the persian gulf and sends some money so that the family can find a suitable groom for Pooja. When Suraj goes to deposit the money in the bank, some bankrobbers intercept him and take his money. Since the money was not deposited in the bank, the bank is unable to guarantee the amount. Suraj does not share this info with his family, so that they needn't worry. Suraj goes in search of the culprits and meets up with a petty thief and pick-pocket Bindiya (Farha). He feels sorry for her, and takes her home and introduces her to his family, and promises to marry her. His family accepts Bindiya. When the family hear of Amar passing away, they ask Suraj to get the money from the bank. How will Suraj get money from the bank, when there is no money in there? How will the knowledge that the money was stolen .

The Samrat of Suryadesh, Suryadev, travels to Pushpapuri in order to wed Rajkumari Nandini, but instead ends up

getting married to her maid, Meenakshi, much to the chagrin of Nandini. Shortly thereafter a son, Vikramdev, is born to Meenakshi, and Nandini plots with a sorcerer, Mahendra, who turns Suryadev and Meenakshi into a pearl necklace, and a beggar respectively, while he takes on the guise of Suryadev himself, declares that Vikramdev and Meenakshi are dead, weds Nandini, and subsequently announces that they are parents of a daughter, Pallavi, who is actually his biological daughter from a previous marriage. Years later, Vikramdev surfaces, he was raised by elephants in the jungles, rescues Pallavi, who teaches him to read, speak, and write, both fall in love and get married. Then Vikramdev sets out to search for his biological parents, finds his mother, takes back his kingdom by exposing Mahendra and Nandini, while Nandini is killed, Mahendra is imprisoned. Then he and Pallavi set out to find a way to bring back Suryadev to life - not realizing that both their lives will be shattered when Vikramdev will age instantly and Pallavi will turn into stone.

Dev Narayan (Alok Nath) lives with his widowed daughter Laxmi (Aruna Irani) and her children Radha and Prashant. Dev also looks after two orphaned children, Gopal and Nita. Laxmi believes that Dev is taking more care of Gopal and Nita, so leaves the house taking her children with her. Laxmi soon spots an orphaned boy on the streets and takes him in. Radha forms a sisterly bond with him and names him Suraj. Suraj has a particular passion for singing. Years pass and Suraj (Salman Khan) is now a famous and popular singer. Radha (Madhuri Dixit) is particularly fond of him – in turn Suraj is grateful to Radha for contributing to his success. Meanwhile, Gopal (Shahrukh Khan) has become a wealthy business tycoon. When Laxmi is killed in an accident, Radha and Prashant (Atul Agnihotri) are taken to live in Gopal’s house, and also living with them is Nita (Suman Ranganathan). Gopal asks Radha to marry him and she agrees. Before their wedding, Gopal meets Suraj – Suraj asks Gopal to watch over Radha (as Suraj loves her like a sister). On their wedding night, Gopal asks Radha who she loves most in the world, she answers her mother and Prashant – Gopal is hurt that she did not mention him. As time goes on, Gopal starts to disapprove of two things. Firstly, he does not like the fact that he and Radha are supporting Prashant financially and secondly, he does not like that Radha is always on the phone with Suraj. After a misunderstanding, Gopal loses his temper with Prashant and throws him out of the house. Gopal soon suspects that Suraj and Radha are secretly seeing one another and consequently throws her out of his house. Radha goes to live with her relatives, where Prashant is also staying. Everybody thinks that Radha has simply moved out for a few days. However, when Gopal sends Radha a divorce note, Suraj realizes the situation. He and Prashant tell Radha they wish to speak to Gopal but Radha does not want them to do so. Suraj secretly holds a meeting with Gopal. Gopal arrives and angrily confronts Suraj. Eventually, Gopal pulls out a loaded gun and asks Suraj to shoot him. After an argument, Gopal leaves. Suraj now believes that he is the reason for Radha’s divorce and feels extremely guilty. He is now determined to set things right. Radha has now realised that Gopal was angry about her friendship with Suraj – she and Suraj agree never to meet again. Suraj explains the situation to his girlfriend Suman (Aishwarya Rai). Suman talks to Gopal and explains where he went wrong. Gopal now realises that he misunderstood Radha and Suraj’s friendship for adultery. Just as Radha is about to commit suicide, Gopal arrives and stops her – they reconcile. Tamil-speaking Priya and Punjabi-speaking Dr. Kiran meet and fall in love with each other, and get married. Kiran

likes to drink and likes the company of women, Priya is aware of this and always suspects him of having an affair. When Shobha decides to go for a vacation to her parents' house, Kiran meets with a dancer/singer, Lulu, spends the night with her, and wakes up next morning to find her dead body. Fearing that the Police will arrest him, and his wife will leave him, he disposes off the body off of a bridge into a river, and returns home to try and lead a normal life. When the Police find Lulu's body, they discover that she had taken a taxi to Kiran's house on the night of her death. It looks like Kiran may have to face the consequences of being arrested and his wife leaving him.
