Badhaai Ho (2018)Hindilinks4u Watch Online Indian Movies Story:

What happens when a woman gets pregnant in her twilight years. If some gentle ribbing is all you are expecting, then you are out of touch with reality and the subconscious prudery that even supposed liberals direct at the elderly.

Now imagine if the expectant mother and her husband, the child's father, are already parents of a teenaged son and another who is in his 20s. The contempt they face within the home then is no less than what the outside world inevitably throws at them, as Priyamvada and Manoj Kaushik discover in Badhaai Ho.

badhaaiho825
A poster of Badhaai Ho
Manoj (Gajraj Rao) is employed in the Indian Railways and Priyamvada (Neena Gupta) manages their home. Their son Nakul (Ayushmann Khurrana) works in an advertising firm and is dating his colleague Renee (Sanya Malhotra). The younger one, Gullar (Shardul Rana), is in school.

Their family is rounded off by a tetchy, demanding grandmother (Surekha Sikri). Or so they think until a sudden bout of unease takes Priyamvada to the doctor and they realise she is almost halfway through a pregnancy she was not aware of.

The Kaushiks live in a congested house in a lower-middle-class Delhi locality with an old-world air. Nakul's office is in Gurgaon, the suburb characterised by its glitzy, gigantic, modern buildings. Their worldview lies somewhere in between.

And so, first comes the older couple's shyness to announce what in their youth would have been demanded of them as "good news" they owe to the human species. Then comes the laughter and derision of family and their larger social circle. This much is expected in such a story and makes Badhaai Ho a lovable slice-of-life comedy.

What is most telling and a departure from the expected is the nuance and sensitivity with which director Amit Ravindernath Sharma (who earlier made the dreadful Tevar) and his writing team (story: Shantanu Srivastava and Akshat Ghildial, screenplay: Akshat Ghildial) examine Priyamvada and Manoj's own response to their situation, and the judgement they face from a seemingly forward-thinking character who sees in their decision not to terminate the pregnancy a sign of backwardness.

Messrs Sharma, Srivastava and Ghildial's work reminded me of an article I read a few years back by a rape survivor who said she had to deal with considerable social opprobrium in small-town America when she decided not to abort the child she conceived from rape. Too many people who view themselves as liberal think that pro-choice means pro-abortion. It does not. It means being in favour of the right of every woman to choose for herself. So if you pressure her with your expectation that she absolutely must, in certain specific circumstances, exercise the option the law gives her, then how are you different from fundamentalists who want to change the law that gives women this freedom?

Priyamvada holds the conservative view that abortion is a sin, Manoj clearly does not and would like her to consider it. Badhaai Ho for its part reveals its standpoint in the position Manoj ultimately takes when he tells his beloved Priyamvada: "Kasht tera hai, final decision bhi tera hi hoga" (You are the one who will go through the trouble that this pregnancy entails, therefore the final decision too will be yours). That, and the fact that Badhaai Ho openly acknowledges abortion as an acceptable possibility, takes it light years ahead of most Hindi cinema so far including the Salman Khan-Anushka Sharma-starrer Sultan (2016) which steered clear of the subject perhaps for fear of antagonising a traditionalist audience.

This is what makes Badhaai Ho not just warm, funny and realistic, but also thinking, intelligent and unobtrusively politically and socially conscious. What makes it so enjoyable is that it wears its IQ lightly.

The characters in this film are not painted in black and white but in all the colours of the rainbow. The middle-class protagonists are not portrayed as saints nor are the upper classes presented as evil cliches. The screenplay, like these people, does have its imperfections though. Halfway down the line it moves too far away from Priyamvada and Manoj in its focus on Nakul and Renee. It's not that we don't get to spend time with them - of course we do - but they are dears and it feels like not enough. Since the young are the top priority of most cinema, it would have been nice to get better acquainted with the older pair here and especially know more about Priyamvada's mindset, her goals and life-long dreams.

Still, what Badhaai Ho offers is precious - an insight into the lives of real people rather than glossed-up specimens of humanity that exist only in the imagination of commercial filmmakers. Sanu John Varughese's camerawork plays a part in highlighting the contrasting spaces Nakul in particular inhabits. Varughese scales down while shooting the Kaushiks' home milieu and even Renee's wealthy residence, but his frames become more expansive when they shift to Gurgaon. The cast and Sharma's vision are a match made in heaven.

Ayushmann Khurrana is gradually becoming the Amol Palekar of his generation, yet different. This young artiste is capable of top-lining conventional Bollywood cinema (as we see even with the closing song and dance routine in Badhaai Ho), but chooses to work in small films where the star is the story. He is completely convincing here as a well-intentioned though conflicted son. He also shares a comfortable chemistry with his co-star Sanya Malhotra, whose calling card as of now is her role as a wrestler in the Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal (2016). Within a span of just three weeks, Malhotra has managed to display amazing versatility playing a sensible, urban, wealthy woman of today in Badhaai Ho, a character that is chalk to the cheese that is the loud, pugnacious sibling living in rural Rajasthan that she was in Vishal Bhardwaj's Pataakha.

Surekha Sikri is rollicking good fun as the cantankerous Dadi who turns out to be not quite as old-fashioned as you might think at first. Hers is a character that occasionally is in danger of being overplayed, but Sikri holds back just at the point where she needs to. The always wonderful Sheeba Chadda's performance as Renee's mother is marked by her trademark restraint.

Neena Gupta plays Priyamvada with the natural ease that has characterised all her performances on film and TV. In addition it is worth noting how she has been styled and how she chooses to carry herself in Badhaai Ho. When she was young I never particularly thought of her looks, but in this film I was struck by her luminous prettiness in a face filled out beautifully with life experiences. Gajraj Rao is so credible as her reticent yet romantically inclined partner, and they are so good together, that they bring to mind these lines from 'I Believe In You' sung by the legendary American country musician Don Williams: "But I believe in love / I believe in babies / I believe in Mom and Dad / I believe in you."

Badhaai Ho believes in Mom and Dad. And you know what, Mr Sharma? I believe in you.

Blackmail (2018)Hindilinks4u Watch Online Indian Movies Story:

Story: Dev (Irrfan) is a bathroom tissue sales representative. One night he chooses to flavor up his generally commonplace life and indifferent marriage, by going home ahead of schedule from work with a bundle of roses for his better half. Things being what they are, his significant other is sleeping with another man. This stunning disclosure prompts a progression of occasions which are both amusing and ludicrous.

Survey: The white collar class man is his very own casualty conditions. He carries on with an existence of accommodation, to such an extent, that when given a circumstance of contention, as Dev, he battles to perpetrate a wrongdoing of enthusiasm. He leaves to his destiny, or so doubtlessly. Shakedown takes this idea and gives it an uproariously decent contort. It takes the regular man's day by day problems and puts an interesting twist on things like EMIs, advances and coming up short connections.

On finding out about his significant other's infidelity, Dev begins coercing her darling Ranjit (Arunoday Singh), who thusly extorts Dev's better half. More show unfurls once different characters from Dev's life become acquainted with of his extorting plans. It starts a progression of sorts, where everybody begins extorting another person for thought process. The situational humor that emerges from this foolish introduce is diverting. Parveez Sheik (who's composed Ruler and Bajrangi Bhaijaan) has his finger on the correct note, and contributes the parody the groupings skilfully.

Blackmail (2018)Hindilinks4u Watch Online Indian Movies Review:

The pace of the principal half is somewhat moderate. It requires investment to setup every one of the plots, yet and still, at the end of the day, the funniness remains fresh and engaging. The second half is a giggling riot. As each plot unfurls, the circumstances get unusually entertaining. Abhinay Deo's bearing is on the cash. After his dark parody Delhi Stomach, he has broken another in this kind with Shakedown. The eminent can humor in this story helps you to remember Delhi Midsection. The music in the film (Amit Trivedi) delightfully complements the correct scenes. Badla, the rap including Trivedi and Celestial has been utilized successfully, and it adds extraordinary vitality to the story. In the film, Omi Vaidya who's back with his insane American twang continues empowering Dev by saying, "shake it up" (play on words proposed!). Add to that, there's a wacky tune called Sataasat with verses implying actually shaking it off! Shakedown's eccentric amusingness and introduction makes it a joy ride.

Irrfan gives a strong execution as the normal office fellow who can't face his supervisor, nor to his unfaithful spouse. He conveys a quality of defenselessness to his character and keeps a straight face notwithstanding when he's plotting and arranging the coercion. There's a level of vulnerability in his activities which originates from his decency – and that is the thing that adds to its cleverness all. Arunoday Singh, as the wacky track-suit wearing awful kid, is a fierceness. It's extraordinary compared to other exhibitions of his vocation. Divya Dutta as Ranjit's inebriated and commanding spouse adds to the diversion. Her scenes with Arunoday are locks in. Additionally Kriti Kulhari, is not too bad in her part as the philandering spouse.

The plot of Extortion is its saint and it figures out how to strike a decent harmony amongst dim and clever. Characters are knock off, now and then in most violent detail and odd occasions unfurl, however the film never loses its vein of simple, dark silliness. This is a standout amongst the most insidiously amusing movies that we've found in quite a while.

Yahaan (2005)Hindilinks4u Watch Online Indian Movies Story:

Adaa (Minissha Lamba) is a Kashmiri woman torn between her army officer lover Aman (Jimmy Shergill) and her jihadi insurgent brother Shakeel (Yashpal Sharma). Trouble ensues when Aman's superiors come to know of his involvement with the sister of a terrorist and

implicate him as an accomplice. Thus, Adaa begins a valiant attempt to save Aman from the perils of a court-martial and Shakeel is torn between his family's happiness and safety and his own jehadi cause.Kashmir is in turmoil because of terrorists trying to take over the land and the Indian army trying to find and eliminate them. Army commander Aman meets Adaa when posted to Kashmir to fight the insurgents. Adaa lives with her father, grandmother and a mute adopted sister. Adaa's brother Shakeel has joined hands with the terrorists to gain a free Kashmir. Circumstances soon lead to Aman and Adaa falling in love. Aman does not let the army know about his new relationship. He is given the task of finding and eliminating terrorists; he captures their leader, who happens to be Shakeel's mentor. Adaa's family learns about her affair with Aman. Her grandmother approves of the relationship, but her father requests Aman to stay away from them, as their love will not be approved in that place. A disappointed Aman is then given another mission. Acting on a tip off, he and his men go to raid a terrorist hideout but are attacked by the terrorists. Many insurgents are killed, and Aman and four comrades are taken captive by Shakeel. They demand the release of their leader from the government in exchange for the soldiers. But Adaa finds her brother's hideout, goes there, and pleads with him not to harm Aman. Using the opportunity, Aman breaks free and escapes with Adaa, just as the army besieges the place and rescues the captured army men. Now Aman and Adaa's affair becomes known to the army. Suspicion falls on Aman that he is in-hand with the terrorists, as he is not at their hideout, and he has run off with Adaa. As soon as he arrives in the city, he is arrested and court marshaled. Adaa does all she can to help Aman. She goes to the chief minister, who agrees to help her but on the condition that she deny any relationship with Aman in public, as it can affect the reputation of the army. Adaa does not agree to that. Instead, on the advice of her mute sister, writes a letter to the prime minister, telling him her story and seeking help for Aman. As luck would have it, she is called by a TV channel for a live interview and to tell her story to the world. This news spreads, and the terrorists are irked. They advise Shakeel to put an end to it all: He takes over a mosque, holding people hostage in exchange for their leader and Adaa's silence. They also bomb Adaa's house (at their leader's orders), injuring her grandmother gravely. Adaa decides to broadcast live, no matter what. Shakeel demands from the government that he negotiate with the man who had relationship with his sister: Aman. In the climax, Aman enters the mosque alone and faces Shakeel. Shakeel beats him black and blue, then sees that his father is one of the hostages in the mosque. At the same time, Adaa tells her story live on TV. Everyone listens to the heart-touching tale of the two lovers and a plea for Shakeel to return. Aman tells Shakeel that the terrorist leader had bombed Shakeel's house and his grandmother is in hospital. The terrorists then decide to leave, holding a man and few hostages as guard. As soon as they step out, pre-planned by Aman who is wearing a bulletproof jacket, a sniper commando shoots him. He falls from the impact, thus giving the sniper chance to aim at other terrorists. The army invades and forces the other terrorists to surrender. In the end, Adaa arrives and they leave the scene together.

Talvar (2015)Hindilinks4u Watch Online Indian Movies Full Movie Story:

Nyodda is fictional dramatization of true life events revolving around Aarushi Talwar murder case investigation.

The thriller is a work of fiction which is based on one of the most intriguing and talked about double murder case in recent history. The film starts off with an introduction of Inspector Ashwin Kumar at an officers' get-together of India's premier police investigating agency, the Central Department of Investigation (CDI). Later, his senior officers hand him over the Shruti Tandon murder case. The film then goes into a flashback of events leading to the murder. On the night of 15-16 March 2008, Shruti Tandon (Ayesha Parveen), a 14-year girl is found dead at her home in Sameer Vihar of Noida, by her parents Ramesh (Neeraj Kabi) and Nutan (Konkona Sen Sharma). The local policemen, led by Inspector Dhaniram (Gajraj Rao) are incompetent, and do not know the basics of criminal investigation. Initially, they question Khempal's close friend and Tandons' assistant Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya tells the police that Shurti's parents might have committed the murder after finding her in a compromising position with Khempal. The police then declare the murders as a clear case of honour killing. On 25 March, the Noida police arrest Ramesh Tandon for the two murders. On 1 April, the state's Chief Minister Malawati hands over the case to Central Department of Investigation (CDI), the country's elite investigating police agency, because of discrepancies in the police investigation. The CDI team is led by detective Ashwin Kumar (Irrfan Khan) and Inspector Vedant (Soham Shah). They discover Khempal's decomposed body on the terrace of the building in which the Tandons live. Kumar holds contempt for the sloppy first responders who botched the initial crime-scene investigation. He believes the parents to be innocent, and methodically builds a case against the father's resentful assistant. His team uses narco tests, attempting to prove that the assistant and his two accomplices committed the murders. On 22 June 2008, he officially exonerates the parents, and Ramesh Tandon is released from the jail. The narrative also briefly discusses the dissolution of Kumar's marriage with Reema (Tabu).Just as Ashwin Kumar is about to conclude his investigation, his senior officer retires and a new CDI chief takes over. Inspector Vedant, in his greed to get a promotion, starts working against Kumar. This leads to an altercation between the two officers, resulting in Kumar's suspension. On 9 July 2008, CDI hands over the case to a new probe team, which refocuses the investigation on the parents as the suspects. On 20 February 2011, CDI files a closure report in Ghaziabad court, naming parents as the prime suspects, but states that the evidence is insufficient to initiate prosecution. On 15 March, the Tandons file a protest plea opposing CDI's report. On 25 March, the judge rejects the closure report and makes the parents an accused in the case. The trial begins on 8 June 2012. In the final act, rival camps with opposing hypotheses then make their cases before a judge. The Tandons are convicted for the murders on 26 November 2013.
