E along with his friend Tony (Karunas) carries out small crimes to earn money. E brought up in tough conditions, grows up as a tough,
fearless and emotionless guy. Meanwhile; Dr.Ramakrishnan (Ashish Vidyarthi) a quack comes to the slum and projects himself as a do-Good to people living there. Not knowing his ulterior motives, the slum dwellers keep unshakable faith on him. However, his hidden agenda is to make use of them as guinea pigs to test his new but potentially lethal medicines.E saves Dr.Ramakrishnan from Nellai Mani (Pasupathy), a terrorist, who is after the Doctor to kill him. Realizing E’s boldness the Doctor enters into a pact with E to capture Mani in return for a huge sum. E captures Mani and when he takes him to handover him to the doctor. Mani tells about Ramakrishna’s evil designs. The rest of the film is about how E foils the doctor’s malicious actions and brings him to books.The movie revolves around Easwaran alias E (Jiiva), an orphan brought up in the musty, teeming slums of Chennai by an old woman. For him money is the thing in life, he does anything for that. He Comes across Jothy (Nayantara), a bar dancer, who settles down in the same locality. After a few encounters they get acquainted with each other. E's simple ways attract Jothy. Coming to know of his past, Jothy tries desperate to correct his ways and set him on the right path. Meanwhile Dr Ramakrishnan (Ashish Vidyarthi) takes up the task of testing a medicine devised by a foreign company, which may come handy in killing people in thousands especially during times of wars. Dr Ramakrishnan chooses Jothy's sister and E's grandmother as specimen for the test. He cashes in on the ignorance to slum-dwellers. Things take a turn, when E rescues Dr Ramakrishnan from a murder bid by Nellai Mani (Pasupathy). A sequence of events brings Nellai Mani and E together. Without knowing his motive, E hides him in a secret place and decides to hand him over to Dr Ramakrishnan for a huge sum. Slowly E gets attracted by good ways of Nellai Mani. Through him, E comes to know of Ramakrishnan's ulterior motives. Nellai Mani, a revolutionary fighting for a cause, tries to bring about a change in E's heart. Succeeding in his attempt, Nellai Mani lays down his life leaving E to complete his task. The rest is all about E's show all the way in putting an end to Ramakrishnan and his evil ways.

Big B is a 2007 Malayalam action-thriller film co-written and directed by Amal Neerad, starring Mammootty in the title role. The cinematography was done by Samir Thahir, and the Songs were composed by Alphons Joseph and background score was composed by Gopi Sundar. The movie is an unofficial remake of the American film Four Brothers, which in turn was loosely based on the American western The Sons
of Katie Elder, with revised screenplay and action sequences. Even though the movie had an average box office reception in its initial run, it later went on to become a cult classic mainly because of its exceptionally original cinematography, path breakingly stylish action sequences and exquisite performance by Mammootty.

The story begins with the cold-blooded murder of Mary John Kurishingal (Nafisa Ali). Her adopted sons arrive for her funeral from various places; Bilal John alias 'Big B' (Mammootty), Eddy (Manoj K Jayan), Murugan (Bala) and Bijo (Sumit Naval). The four brothers take it upon themselves to unearth the mystery behind their mother's murder. Bilal starts meeting his old friends and contacts in the Kochi underworld to get information on the killers. Little by little, they piece the evidence and find out that the murder was committed by two professional 'hitmen' from Mumbai. The ACP Balaji Shakthivel (Pasupathy) who is an upright cop, put in charge of investigations, tries his level best but cannot fetch any evidence to prove anything related. They soon find out that the murder was one of the many meticulously planned operations, aimed to check the teacher's intrusions into unlawful exporting of children from Kochi. As the Mayor (Ramesh Varma) and his henchman, an underworld don called Saiyuppu Tony (Sherveer Vakil) are involved, the brothers decide to take up arms to avenge their mother. How they accomplish their revenge forms the rest of the story.
