The movie story deals with Daya is an orphan who grows up learning that a police's life is a happy one with lots of money coming in the form of bribes which inspires him to become a police officer. After years, he becomes a
corrupt, cunning, manipulative and ruthless sub inspector of police. He is transferred to Vishakhapatnam where he forms an immediate friendship with the local don Waltair Vasu by releasing his four brothers Ravi, Mani, Varun and Sundeep from the jail who were arrested for smuggling. Daya's attitude does not go well with his subordinate Narayana Murthy, a sincere police constable. He tries to oppose Daya's deeds which go vain. Meanwhile, Daya meets a pet cross member Shanvi and falls in love with her at first sight. With the help of two chain snatchers, Daya manages to steal her pet dogs which are very precious for her. Daya later manages to pose those chain snatchers as police constables and adds that they had to fight with Korean smugglers to retrieve those dogs. He also foils her marriage with a flutist named Vennela Kishore by arresting him at a brothel house adding that he is an ardent dog lover and an exact opposite of Kishore which makes Shanvi fall for him. On her birthday, Vasu's men kidnap her and Daya rescues her in time. Vasu then scolds his henchmen for kidnapping the wrong person and apologises to both of them.

The opening scenes give you an indication of how the movie is going to shape up. NRI Krishna returns to his village with his wife and child to work for the upliftment of the village folk. However, when the family along with his old father is on its way home with the money, fellow villager PR backstabs, kills all and runs away with the money
leaving his wife and son behind. PR is head of a huge empire (with his friend Sheshu as partner) and is into all kinds of nefarious activities. Enters out hero, Kranti who flexes his muscles, shakes his leg and gets into the gang of PR to earn money for his orphanage, where he grew up (he's orphaned at a very young age). Kranti (jr. NTR) falls in love with Varalakshmi (Hansika Motwani) who is such a lucky girl that she wins a foreign trip, a house and household gadgets for her family. Varalakshmi initially does not like Kranti. An ambitious Kranti, meanwhile rises up pretty fast in life and meets PR in Hong Kong. The director takes the audience to believe that Kranti is PR's son till the twist in the tale. This movie has some stylish fights and good action sequences.

Kalyan Ram started his career as an actor with Toli Choopulone (2003) produced by Ramoji Rao. His next movie was Abhimanyu (2004) produced by Ashwini Dutt. Starting his film career with two failures did not dampen his spirits. In 2005 he established his own banner,
N.T.R. Arts, under the name of his legendary grandfather NTR and produced Athanokkade introducing Surender Reddy as director. Kalyan Ram startled the film industry and the audience alike with this movie. It was a runaway hit at the box office. His next movie, Asadhyudu (2006), was a disaster. His next ventures Vijayadasami with Samudra and Lakshmi Kalyanam with Teja did not work. However, Hare Ram under his own production proved him as actor and was well received by critics and Good Success After "Athanokkade". In 2009 he starred in Jayeebhava which was a flop. In 2010 he starred in KalyanRam 'Kathi'. Though there was much hype about stealing the title from known director Gunasekhar, he could not Much steal the audience hearts — an Average Film from his banner.Kalyan Ram`s OM Releasing On July 19. Currently,He is working for his film Pataas produced under his banner. And also he is producing a movie Kick 2,under his banner N.T.R. Arts, with star hero Ravi Teja as a lead, which is considered as one of the most awaited movie of the year 2015 in Tollywood .
