Nihal Singh (Jackky Bhagnani) is a teen from Chandigarh who loves to build complicated gadgets to learn what it is behind science. He has a brilliant mind and dreams of studying at an elite science institute. When he is accepted into his dream college in Mumbai, he discovers college is a whole new world, new people and new challenges. At school Nihal is attracted to Meesha (Vaishali Desai), a proud, rude brat. She cannot accept that Nihal is managing to charm everyone his way including Professor Siddarth Verma (Rishi Kapoor), the

professor of the college. Nihal starts to get visions of Meesha being in danger. He saves her life and his secret is revealed that he can see the future. Nihal sees the explosion before it takes place and manages to rescue most people. It turns out one of Nihal's friend is behind the attack. The film starts with a wedding which is organised by Mansukh's (Himesh Reshammiya), father Champak Lal (Manoj Joshi). Champak pulled many strings in order for this marriage to happen but his son, Mansukh, was heard by the whole crowd through a dropped microphone that the wedding was done for the girl. After that the scene moves to a village where a few trucks, which have smuggled loot in them, are raided by a cop called Bahattar Singh (Akshay Kumar) aka Khiladi 786. Then we come back to Mansukh, who is now kicked out of his house by his dad, is agitated to organise his own wedding. A car driven very fast by Indu (Asin) with a groom who wants to marry her. Coincidentally, Mansukh is there too with his friend. An underworld don Tatya Tukaram Tendulkar's (Mithun Chakraborty) is Indu's brother and wants to get her married to a decent family. Mansukh promises that he will bring a groom within 10 days. From there Mansukh leaves for the village where Bahattar is. It is also revealed that Bahattar and his family are not cops but are acting as one. Mansukh comes with the relationship not knowing this. He lies about Tatya, that he is a cop as well. Both of them accept and pretend to be cops. Indu doesn't like Bahattar because he is a cop and she already has a boyfriend Azaad (Rahul Singh). After a few tries to scare Bhattar, Indu decides to tell him that she has a boyfriend. Bahattar now frees Azaad and brings him to Indu. Indu is now told by Bahattar that he is not a cop. Indu realises that she loves Bahattar. After that the wedding is commenced, and after a few tries to stop the wedding after the truth is out, Azaad kidnaps Indu and takes her. Bahattar comes and rescues her and starts hitting Azaad but then he is stopped by his lost brother Tehattar Singh (also Akshay Kumar). The family is reunited and the wedding finishes and everyone is happy.

Badri (Manoj Joshi) heads a Brahmin family whose ancestral palace is believed to be haunted by the ghost of Manjulika, a Bengali classical dancer. Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and Avni (Vidya Balan), the son and daughter-in-law of Badri's elder brother, return to their native village from America and decide to stay in their ancestral palace. Here, Siddharth is crowned as the king, his right to the throne. Events take a twist when Avni opens a forbidden locked room that contains the ghost of Manjulika. Unnatural events start taking place inside the palace. Avni falls in love with the place and learns about Manjulika and her tragic story. Badri and Batuk Shankar (Paresh Rawal) try to ward off the evil eye with the help of a priest, Shri Yagyaprakashji Bharti (Vikram Gokhale), but unfortunately the priest has gone to London and is unsure when he might return. Siddharth starts suspecting Radha (Amisha Patel) for all the strange occurrences. He thinks she has gone crazy since he was supposed to marry her, but married Avni instead. The tragic love story of the old king Vibhuti Narayan, who loved Manjulika, who in turn loved Shashidhar, is revealed. Avni imagines herself as Manjulika and Sharad as Shashidhar, dancing in the court of the king. Avni completely assumes the identity of Manjulika and tries to kill her own husband Siddharth; she sees him as the king who had killed Manjulika's lover. To cure Avni, Aditya triggers Manjulika's personality and makes her promise to leave Avni if she gets the opportunity to kill the king and take her revenge. The priest Shri Yagyaprakashji Bharti arrives and with his help, during the ritual of Durgashtami, Aditya lays out an intricate plan to trick Manjulika into thinking she is killing the king when she is actually slaying a dummy. After the "murder", Manjulika, now content, leaves Avni forever. Avni is healed and everything ends well. Aditya tells Radha, whom he has taken a liking to, that he will send his parents over if she is interested in marrying him, to which a happy Radha gives her silent consent.

Narsimha is a rowdy whose life ambition is to become an MLA, he murders people and works as a henchman to the Home Minister in hopes of getting the seat. However, Narsimha has a sister, Puja whom he adores a lot and she too loves her brother. Venky is a happy-go-lucky guy with a nice family and no problems. His ambition in life is to become a professional kick boxer, he and his dad share a strong bond. When Venky goes to the shop to pick up his pictures he accidentally takes the wrong envelope. His family sees the pictures of Puja, and thinks that she is Venky's girlfriend. The Home Minister's son Ajay wants to marry Puja, and tells Narsimha that he will make him an MLA if he agrees to the marriage. Narsimha quickly agrees, and Puja too has no objection to her brother's decision. Through a series of


misunderstandings Narsimha thinks that Puja is in love with Venky, though they both have never met. Narsimha worries that he will not become a MLA, and goes to Venky's family's coffee shop and thrashes everything, he destroys Venky's sister's marriage and slaps Venky's father. Venky comes home and sees the destruction, he's confused and swears revenge on Narsimha. Narsimha screams at Puja and she decides to commit suicide; when she jumps into the water Venky saves her. Its late so he decides to drop her at her home, when Narsimha sees Puja on Venky's bike he thinks that they are eloping. Venky and Puja try to explain that they don't know each other and its a misunderstanding, but Narsimha won't listen. A fight follows and Narsimha shoots Venky. Venky lives, but he kidnaps Puja and says he demands an apology and Narsimha must fix all that he destroyed. Slowly Puja becomes friends with Venky and after a little while they fall in love, but they don't know this. Puja goes to her exam hall, and tells Venky she will tell him something after her exam, she was going to say 'I love you'. Meanwhile Venky's friends and family explain the misunderstanding to Narsimha, and he immediately apologizes and fixes all the destruction he's caused. Puja is not able to tell Venky her feelings, because her brother comes and says sorry. Now, Venky does not want to create anymore problems, so he denies his love for Puja. Puja doesn't want to get married to Ajay, but she accepts to make her brother happy. Ajay figures out that Puja has been kidnapped, and thinks that Venky and Puja are in love. The Home Minister then insults Puja, this leads to a fight and their wedding is called off. Narsimha thinks that Puja should get married to Venky, and they happily get married.

Lingaa is a 2014 Indian Tamil action-drama film directed by K.S. Ravikumar, who also scripted the film in collaboration with the film's

dialogue writer, Pon Kumaran. The film stars Rajinikanth playing dual role, Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Music was composed by A. R. Rahman while cinematography was headed by R. Rathnavelu. The movie was filmed in Tamil, with Telugu and Hindi dubbed versions. Principal photography commenced during the last week of May 2014 in Mysore; immediately after the release of Kochadaiiyaan. Majority of the filming took place in Ramoji Film City. The climax portions were filmed in Shimoga. The film was released on 12 December 2014, coinciding with Rajinikanth's birthday,and received mixed reviews.

The movie revolves around a small village named Solaiyur and a dam that acts as its lifeline. The MP of the village, Nagabooshan (Jagapati Babu) has plans to destabilize the dam for his own selfish motives. A Government official who tested the dam's strength certifies that it has a very long life. Nagabhushanam kills the official who before dying, warns the village head to reopen the Temple to save the dam. Thus he decides to reopen the Temple which should be done by the legal heir of the dam's engineer Raja Lingeswaran (Rajnikanth). Nagabooshan accepts it to protect his goodwill in the constituency and his wish to marry the village head's granddaughter Lakshmi (Anushka) who works as a reporter in Public TV. After a long search, Lakshmi finds out Lingeswaran's legal heir Lingaa (Rajnikanth), a petty thief who steals small jewellery along with his companions for a living. He also harbours a lot of resentment towards Lingeswaran because he left his successors penniless. One day, he decides to steal an emerald necklace on display at a star hotel along with his gang and he makes Lakshmi his unwilling accomplice. He does steal the necklace, but by the time he goes to the Merchant to get his share, the police come and arrest the Merchant. Thus, Lingaa is forced to run away from the city to escape the police hunting for him. Lakshmi comes into his life once again and convinces him to accompany her to Solaiyur. There, Lingaa and his friends come to know from the village head that the Sivalingam is made of Marakathamani. Since it is a very costly one, Lingaa and his friends enter the Temple, open it and clean the premises, where Lingaa picks up the pen drive. Just when the village head along with Nagabooshan visit the Temple, Lingaa and his friends start worshiping the deity grandly and the village starts worshiping. That day was Mahasivaratri, the day when Lingeswaran was about to inaugurate this Temple. The village head then narrates the story of Lingeswaran to all including Lingaa and Lakshmi. Lingeswaran is the Maharaja of Kodiyur who on his father's request becomes a collector in the British Government during 1939 and also an civil engineer from Cambridge University which was his passion. He is posted to Solaiyur where he observes the water problems before coming to a conclusion that a dam must be built here. Also a village girl named Bharathi (Sonakshi Sinha) along with a local man Subbaiah assist him in gathering the information about the nearby villages. He asks permission from British Government but the collector of Kochi has plans to place a railway track there. After a heated argument, Lingeswaran resigns from his post and decides to build the dam on his own. He obtains permission from the Governor and as a counterattack, the collector is transferred to Solaiyur. With the help of villagers, Lingeswaran succeeds in building the dam. Floods are coming and to save the dam, supporting equipment is necessary which Lingeswaran demands. He also asks the collector to pass the orders to give the lands occupied by the farmers by the British Government. The collector uses this as an advantage while his wife looks on. The collector asks Lingeswaran to pay 100 times the value and also to credit British Government as the one behind the dam's construction. He also puts a condition not to reveal anything to the villagers about this meeting. The next day, when Lingeswaran is paying the amount in the form of Gold, Silver and documents, he receives necessary cash, supporting equipment and documents along with an order restoring the lands to the villagers. But the collector's men try to burn the order certificate while a traitor shows the scene of Lingeswaran giving the documents and receiving cash to the key villagers who supported him. Thus the notices of surrendering their lands to British Government are given to the villagers who are said that Lingeswaran joined hands with the British Government. The Siva Temple, which was built for the safety of the village and the dam is about to be inaugurated. Just in time, villagers come and demand Lingeswaran to vacate who is forced to leave Solaiyur. The Temple is closed permanently and Bharathi, who loved Lingeswaran, leaves the village along with him and his assistant Subbaiah's family. The village is saved from the floods this year and the dam stands strong. Here, the collector's wife reveals the truth and hands over the order of restoring the lands back to the villagers. The traitor commits suicide and the dam is acknowledged to be built by Lingeswaran by laying a foundation stone with his image. The villagers find Lingeswaran living a poor man's life and ask him to forgive them. He does but does not accept to return to Solayur to reopen the Temple, as the dam and the Temple are signs of his achievements, which itself is enough to live. The Temple stood closed since then for about 70 years till date. Humbled by the legacy of Lingeswaran, Lingaa decides to redeem himself. He learns about Nagabooshan's evil designs and with the help of Lakshmi he exposes his true colors and saves the dam as well as the village. He leaves the village vowing to comeback after achieving something in life and unites with Lakshmi.

The Story is about Ravi who works as a collection agent of ICICI in Bangalore and leads a happy life along with his friends and his father Mohan Rao who wishes to see Ravi married to a girl soon. Then he describes about the traits of Shruti and her uncle Crazy Mohan. The duo have a habit of cheating gullible young men including his friend and Ravi decides to teach them a lesson. Ravi enters their life as a gullible youngster and starts torturing them. Crazy Mohan's plans and attempts always go in vain before him. As a part of their cunning plans, Crazy Mohan advises Shruti to ask Ravi to marry her. As fate would have it, Ravi also comes with a

marriage proposal to Shruti. Then the pair approach Mohan Rao and tell him that Ravi is in love with Shruti and that he proposed to her. They assume that this would enrage him but the result is negative as Mohan Rao accepts the proposal heartily. Meanwhile unknown to Shruti, she is engaged to Rohit by her father sometime in the past. Ravi one days saves Shruti from some goons and after doing so advises her not to play with people's feelings in future. While Ravi is fighting with the goons, Poorna stabs Mohan Rao and flees away to Vizag with Shruti. After admitting Mohan Rao into the hospital, Ravi starts narrating his past. In the past, when Poorna tries to destroy the empire of Nanaji, a dreaded don those days, he takes the help of Shankar and makes him his partner in crime. Shankar, with his aggressiveness and cleverness, starts destroying the empire of Nanaji. Meanwhile, without knowing the fact that she was Nanaji's daughter, he falls in love with Dr. Anjali who reciprocates his love. Knowing this, Poorna's elder son Babji tries to injure Anjali by throwing Acid on her, only to be killed by Nanaji. Then she comes to know that Shankar is a criminal and her father's enemy. Shalini (Tejaswini Kolhapure) is a middle-class housewife forced to stay at home by her second husband, police-chief Bose Shoumik (Ronit Roy). Rahul, an aspiring actor struggling to make it big, comes to take her for a drive but ignores her in favor of phone calls made to try to further his career. Finally, Rahul leaves Kali alone in the car to go to an audition and to check in with his agent, Chaitanya (Vineet Kumar Singh). When he returns to the car, Kali is missing. Rahul first searches for Kali through the police, Chaitanya in tow. An orphan boy, named Sunil, wanders through all of Delhi looking for a job. When selling balloons, he sees a girl and gives her a free balloon. A few days later, during a storm, the girl finds the boy getting soaked and gives him an umbrella. The umbrella blows into a place nearby, where the girls parents are headed. The boy stops their car and indicates them about the dangerous path ahead destroyed by the storm. As the boy rescues the girl's parents, the boy gets adopted by the parents. They name the boy "Atithi" which means "guest". One day, while driving Atithi to a hostel, they are stopped by a teenager, a Psychopath, who mugs them, and shoots the parents. In his rage, Athithi lunges after the teen managing to take the teen's gun. Nearby witnesses see Athithi with a gun and the girl's parents and think that Atithi killed them. The police come and arrest Atithi. The girl also thinks that it was Atithi who killed her parents and starts to hate him and thinks that she will never see him again. Fourteen years later, Atithi (now Mahesh Babu) gets out of jail, and is now in search of the Psychopath {teen who has killed the girl's parents} and the girl who is alive. In Delhi, local goons are feared by Atithi, as he becomes a hurdle for their illegal operation. At one instance, he runs across a girl named Amrita (Amrita Rao) chased by stalkers from her college. When the MLA realizes that Ajay's real name is Kaiser, the MLA, after succumbing to shock, dies with a heart attack. Athithi manages to kill many of Kaiser's men. Kaiser then kidnaps Amrita and her cousin. Kaiser kills Amrita's cousin. Then Kaiser leads Amrita to a dungeon and calls Atithi and tells him that he will kill Amrita if Atithi doesn't rescue her in 12 hours. Then Atithi kidnaps Kaiser's brother, and trades for Amrita. After a few tries he is able to corner Sarayu to the extent that she expresses her love and puts forward a marriage proposal, for which Badri gives no response. Meantime, Vennela is back and can see the chemistry between Sarayu and Badri. She starts regretting the bet with Badri. Badri, too, is torn. Nanda, who is excessively fond of his sister Sarayu, guns for the blood of Badri, as he knows that Badri and Vennela are destined for marriage. When the shoot of the film was going on in Chandni Chowk area of Delhi, an FIR was lodged against makers of the film for allegedly hurting religious sentiments in October 2013. The objection was regarding a scene in the film where a man dressed as the Hindu deity, Lord Shiva pulls the rickshaw with two burqa clad women as passengers.The first poster came out on 31 July 2014.A motion poster was also released on the same day on YouTube. The poster sparked a controversy as it featured Aamir Khan posing almost nude with only a transistor covering his private parts. The poster was criticized for allegedly promoting obscenity. A PIL was filed in the court by the All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front to ban the release of the film. The Supreme Court dismissed the plea and gave the movie a green signal. There were also allegations on the poster being copied. It had similarities with the poster of a Portuguese musician named Quim Barreiros, which was released in 1973.The second poster of was launched on 20 August 2014 at an event in Mumbai.This poster was also released in the form of motion poster on YouTube. The new poster featured Aamir Khan wearing traditional Rajasthani attire, also sporting dark glasses and holding onto a brass tenor. The promotional strategy for the movie was revealed by the makers at the launch of the second poster.

The movie story deals with Rishi a happy-go-lucky son of Bhupathi. Rishi is influenced by his father's ideals and grows up just like his father. But Bhupathi doesn't want his son to take up violence and make more enemies like him. He sends his son to Bangalore for studies and to learn music. There Rishi falls for Deepali, an orphan and brings her to his house in the disguise of his old music teacher as he wants his father to be happy that he doesn't take up the violence. During the festivals held in their village, Simhadri, sends 100 thugs to kill Bhupathi and

his family. Rishi saves his father by eliminating all the thugs. Bhupathi's brother joins hands with Simhadri, so they can kill Bhupathi, Bhupathi's wife, and Deepali in a temple. Simhadri tells Rishi that a local goon helped Bhupathi's brother kill Bhupathi and his family. Rishi wants to destroy Bhupathi's killers, but Simhadri kills himself. In a rage, Rishi stabs Simhadri's corpse more than once. Raju is one of Bhupathi's bodyguards. Some of Bhupathi's bodyguards are still alive. Raju and the other bodyguards assist Rishi to get revenge. Two years later, Rishi discovers that a Goon named Stephen was doing illegal business in Hyderabad for a very long time. Rishi also discovers that a man named Robert started working with Stephen right after Bhupathi's murder. Stephen and Robert became powerful underworld dons. Nandini calls Rishi's phone. Rishi sneaks into Nandini's room. When Rishi sees the pictures of Stephen and Robert, it's confirmed that Rishi's uncle's new identity is Robert. Since Simhadri told Rishi that a local goon helped Robert kill Bhupathi, that local goon must've been Stephen. Later, Raju tells Nandini about Rishi's tragic past. Nandini still wants to help Rishi locate Stephen and Robert. Rishi bribes Nanu's henchmen to stop protecting Nanu. Rishi tells his henchmen including Raju to take Nandini back to her home. Rishi tortures Nanu, until Nanu agrees to lure Stephen and Robert into a trap. Stephen and Robert arrive in a helicopter. It's revealed that Stephen and Robert sent 2 henchmen to disguise themselves as Stephen and Robert. Nanu and his henchmen didn't expect Stephen and Robert to fool Rishi. Nanu's glad that Stephen and Robert fooled Rishi. Rishi realizes that his bodyguards including Raju and Nandini got kidnapped by the bad guys. Robert calls Rishi's cell phone. Robert says, "My informer followed Nanu for these past 2 years just in case if you tried to locate me.
